Front / Back End Developer needed

closed without completion

Clevertech provides custom software solutions to businesses with complex data needs and has been doing so for over ten years. We currently have over 30 developers, designers and analysts.

We take on smart clients, typically startups, who need a technology partner to help them execute and operate their business. We are the ultimate in business+technology consultants, and we love what we do.

We are looking for superb communicators who are also expert coder professionals to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a versatile, responsible, lead developer who thrives on client service and can get the technology right.

We are looking at people who are smart with languages. Our focus is in MVC frameworks, the latest being backbone.js with Yii backend and behat for testing. We work with a variety of languages as needed for integration purposes. If you work with the latest in technology, send us your github details so we can have a look.

We are heavy users of agile project management, and appreciate the simplicity they bring to the table. Our clients demand custom solutions and it's our job to create them with elegant UIs and speedy data access.

The tools we typically use:
PHP with frameworks
Backbone.js / Node.js
jQuery / CSS frameworks
UX / UI / Balsamiq Wireframes
MySQL / SQL Server
Subversion / Git
BDD Testing / Behat

Intermedium level of English is required. We have over 20% Russian speaking developers who can help. We also provide learning series (like 2 hr/day x 5 days Fuze Meeting presentation from the developers of Behat), and our dedication is to keep up with the latest in technology.

Work wherever you are, as long as you are a superb communicator, and generally available during 9am-6pm Eastern for review, calls, and IMs.
